Installation & Process Piping Lead

Overview

• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: Colby,Bruce

This is a technical/hands-on traveling position on the first shift with required weekend work. This position is 10 days on with 4 days off. You will be responsible for complete and accurate installation tasks for Loos Machine & Automation. This position will take an active role in the execution of assigned tasks through projects including SS Sanitary Tube Fitting and Welding.

Responsibilities

• Proficient level Fabricator utilizing Tig Welding practices
• Works from and interprets complex drawings and 3D modeling software
• Analyze and suggest best practices to improve mechanical function and quality
• Learn and improve on established practices, standards, and processes to become more efficient and productive
• Communication with upper management on upcoming projects
• Maintain a high level of quality
• Follow safety procedures, both on and off-site

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, fit, and fabricate metal components, and assemble structural forms using knowledge of welding and fabricating techniques
• Read and understand P&IDs and plant layouts
• Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes
• Equipment experience: Forklift, crane, bandsaw, drill press, tube bender, press brake, etc
• Ability to work well with others
• Creativity and problem-solving skills
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
