Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze activities in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Prepare and maintain the annual Company budget in collaboration with department leaders
Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations departments on monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory cycle counts; investigate variances and recommend process improvements
Partner with operations on job costing, WIP tracking, and inventory
Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, margins, and variances
Process purchase orders for capital equipment and track fixed assets
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Oversee sales tax management of multiple states
Provide support for regulatory and compliance requirements such as tax filings, government surveys, R&D tax credit, and other reporting needs
Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and ERP utilization
Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial practices with company goals

Requirements

Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience of hands-on accounting or related professional experience
Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality
Strong communication, organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
Self-motivated and able to work independently
